Revelations 21:1-27
- What is your favorite Fictional place?
- What is your favorite Non Fictional place?
- Would you want to go to any of those places forever?
Well what we are about to discuss is real and will be for ever.
Read: Revelations 21:1-4
The world that we know has ended and our dwelling will be with God
Verse 4: There will be no more death or morning or crying of pain, basically everything bad that we endure in this world will be gone.
Read: Revelations 21:5-8 (everything new)
- Alpha and the omega (meaning the beginning and the end)
- We will have our thirst quenched by the water of life with out cost
Do we like paying for water? NO
Well this is water that will make us never thirsty again.
We need to overcome, who ever does will inherit all the things mentioned above such as no more pain and we will be with God as his sons and daughters.
So how do we overcome? (Verse 8)
Its by not doing this list of sins.
vile Aadjective1 filthy, foul, nasty, vile
thoroughly unpleasant; “filthy (or foul or nasty or vile) weather we’re having” 2 despicable, ugly, vile, unworthy
morally reprehensible; “would do something as despicable as murder”; “ugly crimes”; “the vile development of slavery appalled them” 3 nauseating, nauseous, noisome, loathsome, offensive, sickening, vile
causing or able to cause nausea; “a nauseating smell”; “nauseous offal”; “a sickening stench”
If we do we will end up in the fire lake (Hell).
Revelations 21:22-27
- No sun or moon Because God glory will shine so bright we don’t need it.
- What do you think this world would be like with out the sun?
- Well God is going to give us light that will be better than the sun and the moon.
Verse 25 Again it mentions that there will be no night time and the gates always open
This comes from back in the first century the cities used to close there gates at night so no enemies or beasts could get in the city.
Verse 27: Nothing impure will be brought into heaven, shameful or deceitful.
I hope that you have a better understanding of what God has planned for those who live the life that he wants for us.
